长期从事农业经济理论和产业政策研究。先后主持国家社科重大项目、国家自然科学基金、农业部948项目及软科学、国家知识产权总局、江苏省等各类课题30余项，承担国际合作课题2项，发表学术期刊论文上百篇。在农业产业链管理、果品产业经济研究、农业产业园区发展战略规划、农业技术推广、农业转基因生物安全管理、农业知识产权管理等研究领域取得了多项研究成果。
